About YUI UCHIDA - YUI UCHIDA creates artworks on transparent materials, continuing the legacy of celluloid painting used in ancient animations. His work aims to transition from Celtic painting to contemporary art, exploring the boundaries between the viewer and the reverse of the painting, the mobility and time of the drawn image, fiction and reality, and the concept of distance. He exploits the characteristics of transparent canvas, using materials such as acrylic plate and polyester film.
