SHIMIZU TOMOHIRO
About SHIMIZU TOMOHIRO - SHIMIZU TOMOHIRO was born in Iwate, Japan. Shimizu developed a strong interest in art as a child. He obtained a degree in science from Aoyama Gakuin University, and upon graduation in 1999, was employed by the Nippon Electric Company. However, a few years later, he left his post and enrolled in the Oil Painting Course at the Tokyo National University of Fine Arts and Music. Since then, he has participated in several solo and group exhibitions in Tokyo.
In his artwork, round-faced female figures stand in a landscape depicted in traditional Japanese style, such as “Rimpa” or ink drawing.
