About SHOKO ISHIDA - SHOKO ISHIDA, aka YODAKA, is a Japanese illustrator and artist based in Michigan, with a BFA in Illustration from the College for Creative Studies in Detroit. She is best known for her delicate portraits with eye-catching shapes. She uses small spaces to create a sense of the familiar in her paintings. Inspired by music, fashion, nature, nostalgia, and her daydreams, this illustrative storyteller creates her mixed media works for stories and galleries around the world.
