About YOKOSAKA TATSUYA - YOKOSAKA TATSUYA was born in 1981 in Gunma Prefecture and currently works in Tokyo. Inspired by celluloid painting techniques, he creates his works by superimposing images drawn on transparent vinyl chloride onto the canvas background. His works use elements from the 1980s, iconic figures, and classic anime characters to represent his own experiences as subject matter. They express admiration and hope for what humanity will accomplish in the future, while sharing a sense of pride and nostalgia for the past.
