About SHOKO ISHIDA:
SHOKO ISHIDA, a.k.a. YODAKA. is a Japanese illustrator and artist based in Michigan, with a BFA in Illustration from College for Creative Studies in Detroit. She’s mostly known for her delicate portraits with eye-catching shapes and she uses negative spaces to give a feeling of the unusual in her paintings. Inspired by music, fashion, nature, nostalgia and her daydreams, the illustrative storyteller creates her mixed media works for stories and galleries around the world.
